I was bottom fishing off Block Island last week and used the cephalopod color jig along with a teaser (white squid skirt, white B-2 squid body) and was among the top people catching fish on the boat. I caught black sea bass and fluke, both keepers and undersized, on both the teaser and the jig. Yes, I caught fluke on the jig. While I definitely caught legal fish there were no monsters among them so I didn’t take any pictures. Next time out I will for sure. FYI, about 3/4 through the trip I lost the jig when it snagged on the bottom. I didn’t catch another fish for the rest of the day using other tackle. I ordered two more on the website to make sure I have them for the next time out. The 5 oz size is perfect and holds bottom well without unnecessary weight. I highly recommend it!
